Atabix (www.atabix.com), based in Amsterdam, focuses on digitizing critical processes for governments and large enterprises. In August 2022, DELTA Equity Partners acquired a majority stake in Atabix to accelerate growth together with the founders. The goal is to further expand the company through an active buy & build strategy into a leading player in the digitalization of the public sector.
Kodision (www.kodision.nl) brings new products and expertise to Atabix Group, enabling government organizations to be supported across the entire value chain with the best digital solutions: flexible digital interaction with citizens and other stakeholders that seamlessly integrates with case management systems for critical processes. The management of Kodision remains involved in the company and will work together with the management team of Atabix to realize the joint growth strategy.
Kodision, based in Arnhem, was founded in 1998 by Okke Nijdam. Since then, Kodision has grown into a leading player in government software. Its TriplEforms and MijnOmgeving applications are widely used software solutions in the public sector. After the acquisition, Atabix Group employs 117 professionals.
“Aansluiten bij Atabix Group is voor ons een mooie stap in onze groeiambities,” says Mario de Bruin (Director at Kodision). “Atabix Group is immediately a strong player in the government market. With our combined product portfolio, we can serve government clients even better. We’re already receiving positive feedback from customers about the collaboration with Atabix, which is, of course, a good sign.”
David Westerhof (CEO Atabix Group): “The government market, driven in part by new legislation, is increasingly focusing on standardized software solutions developed by parties with strong domain expertise. Atabix Group has these software solutions and wants the capacity to implement them successfully at government organizations. That’s why we have adopted a buy & build strategy and are very pleased with the collaboration with Kodision.”
