Atabix strengthens its market position with the acquisition of Mozard and IenPM

Atabix, based in Amsterdam, focuses on digitizing critical processes for (semi-)government organizations. The company achieves this through its software suite, Atabase.

Clients use the software to digitize and professionally manage their administrative processes and customer interactions. Atabase is implemented within the (semi-)public sector by Atabix’s specialized development sprint teams.

Atabix employs 160 professionals and follows an active buy-and-build strategy. After the acquisitions of Kodision and Oberon, Mozard and IenPM have now also joined Atabix.

Mozard and IenPM

Mozard (www.mozard.nl and www.zaakgerichtwerken.nl), based in Nootdorp and founded in 2009 by Mark Voogd, is one of the pioneers of zaakgericht werken (case-oriented working) and the first provider of a case management system in the Netherlands. Mozard’s SaaS solutions enable (semi-)government organizations to improve their service delivery and information management while reducing costs.

The Mozard Suite includes a comprehensive range of functionalities, such as a case management system, object registration system, document management system, content management system with forms, intranet, and customer contact center (KCC). IenPM primarily focuses on implementing Mozard’s solutions.

Through the acquisition of Mozard, new functionalities are being added. With the Mozard Suite, Atabix aims to support more local governments — including municipalities, safety regions, and environmental agencies — in adopting case-oriented working. Existing Mozard customers will benefit from access to Atabix’s other products, such as Forms and My Portal. Mozard’s years of experience and domain expertise enable Atabix to further strengthen its role as a trusted knowledge partner for the public sector.

The management of Mozard and IenPM will remain involved to work with Atabix’s leadership team in executing the joint growth strategy and serving (semi-)government organizations even more effectively in the development, configuration, and implementation of digital solutions.
